Ana Hoezee: Growing With God
Ana Hoezee (B.S. ’20) was introduced to Base Camp Urban Ministries Grand Rapids when she was a freshman at Cornerstone University. While at Cornerstone, Ana studied intercultural studies, ministry and nonprofit management, all of which would directly impact her future work as program coordinator for Basecamp. By growing in her understanding of who God is and increasing her knowledge of other cultures, Ana was greatly transformed in her program and fully equipped to step into her role. Now, Ana works with kids of all ages in vulnerable communities, enriching their lives through after-school activities and sharing God’s love for them in everything she does.
Israel Experience
Led by Cornerstone professors, the Israel Experience is a 14-day trip that allows you to visit sites throughout the country that formed the stage for so many biblical events. The tour moves region-by-region, allowing for time in Jerusalem and Judea, Galilee, the Coastal Plain, Negev, Dead Sea area, Jordan Valley and Golan Heights.
In each geographical area, you’ll have opportunities to learn about the landscape and local archaeology, exploring how the context shaped the history of its people and biblical stories.
