Cornerstone University Remembers Sang Yoon

News July 4, 2017

The Cornerstone University community was deeply saddened yesterday to learn that one of our undergraduate students, Sang Yoon, passed away while on a camping trip with friends in the Upper Peninsula.

Sang was a deeply loved member of the campus community, involved in discipleship and prayer ministries. In addition to full-time studies as a psychology major with a Bible, Religion & Ministry minor, Sang worked for Cornerstone’s food service team.

Memorial Service

Students, staff and members of our community are invited to gather, reflect and celebrate Sang Yoon’s life and legacy on Saturday, July 8 in Christ Chapel. Prior to the memorial service at 2 p.m., a visitation will be held in the chapel’s lobby at 1 p.m. There will be a light reception to follow.

If you have any questions or need assistance, please feel free to contact student.development@cornerstone.edu.

Thank you for praying for Sang’s family and his friends during these difficult days.
