This week in chapel, Dr. Kizombo Kalumbula preached out of Hebrews 11:3, which states, “by faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.” It is the power of the Word of God that created the visible things out of the invisible, and the heavens declare the glory of God. Believers of Christ demonstrate confession of faith through worship, which is the very reason that God created us. Dr. Kalumbula asked the question, “what is the chief end of man?” It is to worship the Lord. Psalm 139 and Psalm 136 are Scriptures used to declare the greatness and majesty of the Lord, and as followers of Christ we can use these Psalms to worship the Lord.
