Cornerstone Arrival Week Recap
Arrival Week was a blast! We’ve been eager to welcome students back on campus and we’re so excited to get this year going! We were blessed to have international, missionary and third culture students from around the world be some of the first students back on campus. In our first home athletics event our men’s soccer team drew 0-0 vs Spring Arbor. Freshman arrived back on campus on August 26 and their families joined together for a powerful dedication service led by Dr. Moreno-Riaño. Orientation weekend was packed with activities and featured the CU tradition of Saturday Night Lights. Before classes started students were able to have a picnic with a prof – where new students had the chance to sit down and meet their professors for the upcoming semester over lunch.
In a weekend full of fun, karaoke, shaved iced, games, chapel, and beautiful weather, we are thankful for God’s goodness leading into the exciting semester ahead. Be sure to relive the fun in the highlights above and join us in praying for our students as we begin the new year!
