Cornerstone Enactus Ranked One of Top 50 Teams in the Nation
Cornerstone University Enactus won third place in their league at the National Exposition in Kansas City, Mo., on Monday. The team was recognized on stage and received a trophy and a cash prize of $750. This ranking places them as one of the top 50 teams in the nation.
Cornerstone Enactus is a student-led organization facilitated through the Business Division. Comprised of students from six academic divisions who meet on a weekly basis, the mission of Cornerstone’s Enactus team is to “utilize the talents and passions of student leaders to meet the needs of today in a manner that is sustainable for tomorrow.”
Following a win at the regional competition, the team headed to Kansas City, Mo., on May 21 to present the results from a few of their most successful projects including MicroGive, the International Artisan Market, the Middle School Idea Pitch Competition, CU Composting and more.
