Cornerstone University Welcomes New Staff Members
Cornerstone University announces the recent appointments of Dennis Graham, director of alumni relations, and Mark Tremaine, advancement advisor.
Dennis Graham (B.A. ’05, M.B.A. ’12) is a two-time graduate of Cornerstone. Upon completing his undergraduate studies, Dennis taught middle school Outdoor Discovery Science and Core Enrichment for two years at Vestaburg Middle School. In 2009, he returned to Cornerstone to pursue his Master of Business Administration degree. While a graduate student, Dennis served as the head JV men’s basketball coach as well as an assistant with the varsity team.
Dennis and his wife Rebecca currently reside in Grand Rapids, Mich., with their son, Moise.
“I truly feel blessed to return to the place that completely transformed my life,” Dennis said. “And I greatly look forward to connecting with the alumni of Cornerstone.”
Mark Tremaine is originally from Overland Park, Kan. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Emporia State University in Emporia, Kan.
The Lord called him to youth ministry and he served as the youth pastor at Rives Baptist Church in Junction, Mich., for nine years.
When it became time for his children to begin their college searches, Mark and his wife, Leah, were overjoyed to direct them to Cornerstone. His two oldest children, Sydney and Audrey, have completed their undergraduate degrees at Cornerstone, and his youngest, Garrett, is entering his junior year at Cornerstone.
After his time in youth ministry, Mark worked in sales and financial services before entering his current position at Cornerstone.
“It has been a joy to see my kids grow and mature into Christ-centered adults,” Mark said. “I couldn’t be any more blessed and excited to be a part of Cornerstone’s mission of building lives that matter by serving as advancement advisor.”
