Dr. West Loveland serves as the assistant dean of Professional & Graduate Studies, program director of counseling and an assistant professor of counseling, teaching remotely from Kansas. He is passionate about whole-person healing and reconciliation which is evident both in his clinical marriage and family practice as well as in his teaching in the classroom environment.

Dr. Loveland received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology and his Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy and Community Counseling from John Brown University. In 2019, he earned his Ph.D. in Counseling Education and Supervision from the University of Arkansas.

Dr. Loveland is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and a supervisor for candidates pursuing licensure. He also works in a private practice setting where his primary focus is marriage and family therapy.

Dr. Loveland lives in Kansas with his wife, Stefanie, and their son, Shepherd.
