SOCIAL WORK MAJOR OR MINOR
The social work major prepares you to walk alongside people and help them cope with their living situations. You’ll graduate with tools to help relieve suffering and promote healthy relationships in diverse family settings. Through this program, you will understand and experience effective practices for helping families strive toward better futures for themselves.
FIND PURPOSE IN YOUR VOCATION
Through the social work program at Cornerstone University, you’ll be challenged to become both a servant of God’s kingdom and a dedicated social worker to your clients. By infusing biblical principles with practical instruction, your professors will create an environment where you can grow in ways you never thought possible.
When you graduate, you will be prepared to face difficult challenges with grace and resilience. Cornerstone graduates can be found aiding the elderly and their families as they navigate changes in assisted care situations, facilitating adoptions and providing safe shelters for victims of abuse and neglect.
GOING BEYOND A CAREER PATH
At Cornerstone, we believe you are more than just a career. Your future is full of potential, and we want to see you strive to unleash it. With the help of your professors and peers, you’ll be supported in reaching your God-given potential.
