Dr. James Sackett grew up in Birmingham, Mich., before attending Adrian College where he played catcher for the Adrian Bulldogs baseball team. Immediately thereafter, he continued his education at Ball State University and the University at Buffalo.

Upon graduating with a terminal degree in 2018, Dr. Sackett made his way back to his home state to begin a career in teaching at Cornerstone University. At Cornerstone, Dr. Sackett continues to carry out his passion for teaching, interacting and motivating students in the field of kinesiology.

“Teaching at Cornerstone University is important to me because of their Christ-centered mission. I have a passion for mentoring and engaging with disciples of Jesus Christ both in and out of the classroom. Additionally, being a faculty member at Cornerstone will allow me to integrate my passion for kinesiology with my love for Jesus Christ on a daily basis.”
