Laurie Burgess, Ph.D.

Professor of Teacher Education

Dr. Laurie Burgess is the professor of teacher education at Cornerstone University. Dr. Burgess’ collaborative nature inspires her to create community in college classrooms. She has given several presentations on this topic as well as the scholarship of teaching and learning in higher education.

Dr. Burgess received her Bachelor of Arts at Calvin University and her Master of Arts in reading from Grand Valley State University. In 2018, she received her Ph.D. in educational leadership in higher education from Western Michigan University.
